Lumco has over 50 years of engineering and manufacturing experience in the cutting tools industry. We can troubleshoot, engineer, reverse engineer, and manufacture a tool to resolve your problem. We can utilize standard components into our tools such as inserts, wedges, clamp, etc. We also specialize in custom components to fit the customers needs if standard components are not possible.
Design, manufacture and service special cutting tools (spade drills, milling cutters, indexable cutters, boring bars, face mill, ballnose end mills, spotface mills) and fixtures.

Lumco has a wide range of in-house capabilities with our own equipment. Lumco does all of its own fabrication. Depending on the project, Lumco also teams up with a variety of manufacturers to complete projects such as: wire edm, heat treating, centerless grinding, and boring milling.
Lumco has an engineering team that can handle any project. We are currently using SolidWorks and Autocad. We will reverse engineer anything and also take field measurements if needed. We are capable of designing and detailing very complex automated machinery. We have designed/engineered cutting tools since 1968 and have designed / engineered special machinery for a variety of industries / customers for over two decades. We provide complete engineering packages per our customers specifications including mechanical and electrical drawings.
